1. Initiation
The first stage in the AACG consulting process is the introduction of the Client into our suite of services. This “Initiation” stage contains two primary components: the Candidacy Evaluation and School Selection.
- School Selection and Candidacy Evaluation – This is a discussion that centers on the appropriate MBA programs to which the candidate should apply. “Appropriate” indicates programs that make sense for the client’s background and strengths. Sometimes the Client “knows” what schools they want to apply to. However a discussion is warranted to draw out exactly how well the client is suited to the culture and profile of the desired school.
The product of this stage is a set of “action items” that the Client and AACG consultant are tasked with delivering by the next meeting and in order to move to the next stage of the engagement - Stage Two: Planning and Design.
